Shenyang Medical College (SMC) is one of the top medical colleges in China.

campus covers almost 5 lakhs sq. meters with more than 2 lakhs sq.
meters under construction for campus and living. Located
in the city of Shenyang, 6 hours drive from Beijing, the campus
has almost 3000 teaching staff with more than 7000 full time students.
Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning Province which covers
around 13,000 square kilometers, and located in the south part of
northeast region of China facing Bohai Bay. Shenyang is the hinterland
of Liaodong Peninsula as well as the economic, cultural, transportation,
financial and commercial center in the northeast region of China. It is
adjacent to Japan & Korea and acts as the biggest exchange center of capital,
information and intellectuals in the northeast region.
The International campus culture in Shenyang Medical College includes

The medical college consists of nine departments:, namely Medical Basic Department,
Social Science Department, Foreign Language Department, General Education
Department, two Clinic Departments, Protective Medicine Department, Health
Management Department, Nursing Department and IT Center and Experimental Animals
Researching Center along with College of Ophthalmology and Optometry and Adult
Education School. In addition, there are 4 affiliated hospitals and one affiliated
Health School and 14 teaching hospitals and practice bases.
The college is equipped with advanced teaching facilities and modernized
teaching methods to ensure education quality. It has amphitheater classrooms with
all facilities like multimedia. The research and experiment lab rooms are well
equipped. The clinic surgery teaching room is first in South Asia with on the spot
teaching through a glass ceiling while a surgery is in progress. Foreign teachers
from different parts of the world come as Visiting Professors. The school
library itself occupies more than 11,000 square meters and possesses more than
3 lakh books with more than 2, 000 journals. The library or resource center at the
university level and departmental level are open to students and provide them with a
favorable environment for study and research.
